Jaroslav Valůch is head of media education projects at Transitions. He has been working for a long time in the field of using modern means of communication to communicate with crisis-affected populations, strengthening media literacy and preventing violence and conflict.
In 2010, he was a Fulbright Fellow at the Philip Merrill College of Journalism at the University of Maryland. He has worked with a number of initiatives and institutions in the regions of Central and Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and North Africa.
